Caddie Guidelines

 

Caddies must wear a caddie bib so that they can be identified,

Caddies must walk; they cannot use golf carts

Caddies cannot physically touch or align the player.

Caddie must help keep the pace of play moving.

A player can only have one person caddying at any time. (May have multiple caddies, but only one person may caddie at a time)

General Rules

​

There is a maximum score of a double par stroke limit for all divisions.

​

Par 3’s - If a player reaches 5 strokes on a par 3, you may pick up and record 6.

Par 4’s - If a player reaches 7 strokes on a par 4, you may pick up and record 8.

Par 5’s - If a player reaches 9 strokes on a par 5, you may pick up and record 10.

 

All strokes played after the stroke limit must be counted.

The general penalty (2-Strokes) will be used in lieu disqualification penalties except for any major violations of player conduct or sportsmanship.

Local Rule E-5 can be used as an additional option. When the player’s ball has not been found or is known or virtually certain to be out of bounds, the player may proceed as follows under the penalty of 2 strokes:

 

Determine the point where the original ball may have come to rest or estimated to where the ball crossed the out of bounds boundary, then find the point of the nearest edge of the fairway of the hole being player. The player then may drop within two club lengths of the points are in the relief area between the points no closer to the hole.
